1. Data Controller

The controller of personal data is Mouamah Ltd., Algiers, Algeria. Privacy matters can be raised via helpdesk@mouamah.com, with "Data Privacy" written in the subject line of the message.

2. Data We May Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect: name, organization name, phone number, email address, type of entity, a description of your needs, challenges and desired outcomes, demo or custom agent request data, Mouamah Assistant messages and conversations, job application data, CVs and professional information provided by applicants, account, subscription and billing data when online purchasing is enabled, and IP addresses and limited technical and security data in server logs.

3. Sources of Data

We collect data directly from you when you submit a request, use the chat, apply for a job or create an account, and we may automatically obtain technical data from the browser or the server in order to operate and protect the website. If your organization provides us with data about authorized users, we may receive it from the organization to the extent necessary to provide the service.

4. Purposes of Processing

We use data to provide the services and manage accounts and subscriptions, respond to inquiries and requests, operate the Mouamah Assistant and generate answers, qualify sales and demo requests, process job applications, perform contracts and provide support, protect the website and prevent abuse, improve service quality, comply with legal obligations, and manage claims or disputes where necessary.

5. Legal Basis

Processing is carried out on the appropriate legal basis depending on the case, such as your consent, the performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest where permitted by law and after taking the data subject's rights into account. We will not change the purpose of processing to an incompatible purpose without an appropriate legal basis.

6. The Mouamah Assistant and Artificial Intelligence

When you use the Mouamah Assistant, your message and the necessary conversation context are sent to Mouamah's server and then to the provider of the AI model used to generate the response. Do not send confidential information or sensitive personal data through the chat unless it is necessary and authorized. The interface keeps a limited conversation context in the browser's session storage to enable follow-up questions. The AI models or providers used may change, while privacy requirements and the applicable contracts continue to be observed.

7. Contact and Demo Requests

When you submit the "Start with Mouamah" form, we collect contact details and information about your organization and needs in order to qualify the request, contact you and prepare a suitable proposal. A protected copy of the request is stored on the server to ensure that the request is not lost if email delivery fails.

8. Recruitment

When you apply for a job, we process your identity and contact data, experience, education, CV and any information you provide in order to assess your application, communicate with you about job opportunities and verify suitability. Recruitment data is not used for marketing purposes unrelated to recruitment without a separate legal basis.

9. Disclosure and Service Providers

We may share data, to the extent necessary, with providers of hosting, infrastructure, email, AI tools and technical services that process data on our behalf or to support the provision of the service, and with professional or regulatory bodies where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

10. Processing or Transfer Outside Algeria

Some technical services or model providers may require data to be processed outside Algeria. Where this occurs, we handle the cross-border transfer or disclosure in accordance with the requirements of the applicable data protection and privacy rules and with appropriate safeguards, as the case may be.

11. Retention Period

We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purpose and to meet legal requirements. As an operational rule, contact and sales requests may be kept for up to 24 months from the last interaction unless a contractual relationship begins or a longer obligation exists, and job applications for up to 12 months after the end of the recruitment cycle unless the applicant consents to their retention for future opportunities. The chat history in the browser is kept for the duration of the browser session under the current technology, while security or contractual records are kept for as long as necessary for security or legal compliance. Once the need ends, the data is deleted, securely destroyed or anonymized, as appropriate.

12. Data Protection

We apply reasonable technical and organizational controls appropriate to the nature of the data, including access restrictions, the use of HTTPS where available, protection of API keys on the server, rate limiting, and protection of configuration files and backups from public access. No technical means can guarantee absolute security, so we review our controls as the service evolves.

13. Your Rights

In accordance with the applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations, you may have the right to be informed of the purpose and legal basis, to access your data, to request it in a readable and clear format, to request its correction, completion or update, to request its destruction where the legal conditions are met, and to withdraw your consent where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise a right, write to us from a verifiable email address at helpdesk@mouamah.com. We may request appropriate information to verify your identity before carrying out the request.

14. Complaints

If you have a question or complaint regarding the processing of your data, please contact us first so that we can address it. You may also exercise your rights or lodge a complaint with the competent authority, in accordance with the procedures and laws applicable before the competent authority in Algeria.

16. Minors' Data

The services are primarily intended for organizations and professional users and are not designed for children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through the public website. If we become aware that data has been collected inappropriately, we will take appropriate action in accordance with the law.
